Prof. Anurag Misra is the esteemed Director of the college. He is a graduate in Civil Engineering from MREC Jaipur and a post graduate in Structural Engineering from REC Kurukshetra. He obtained his Ph.D. from the Queen's University of Belfast (U.K.). He is Former Professor & Head, Department of Structural Engineering and Coordinator of the Centre for Building Technology and Construction Materials at MNIT, Jaipur. He is a renowned academician having an extensive experience of 23 years in teaching, research and consultancy. He has worked at Liverpool Jhon Moors University, Liverpool (U.K.) and Curtins Consulting Engineers (U.K.) under U.K. India REC's Project. He has been involved in supervising a number of projects in the area of durability of concrete. He has also been involved in collaborative research project jointly with University of Dundee (U.K) and seven Indian partners, funded by UK-India Education and Research Initiative (UKIERI). He is Fellow of Indian Concrete Institute and Institution of Engineers (India) and actively contributes to the activities of these professional bodies.
Apart from his academic assignments, he has been interacting with industry regularly and specializes in Bridge Design and rehabilitation of structures. He has been involved in more than 200 consultancy projects including: Design and design-checking of bridges, underpasses and flyovers for JDA, PWD, RUIDP, RSRDC etc. He has also been involved in repair and rehabilitation projects such as safety evaluation and rehabilitation of REIL, Gaurav Towers, Mayo College (Ajmer), and Water Tanks for PHED, etc. Presently, he is working as consultant for the Jaipur Metro project.
